There are Post Offices and Stores in both Carnon Downs and Perranwell Station and buses link to both Truro and Falmouth. The Bissoe Trail links Devoran to Portreath and is a mostly off road route to enjoy cycling, walking or jogging on. If you enjoy walking then you will be truly spoilt with endless paths and bridleways to explore. Senior schools are in Truro as well as Truro College. Truro can be reached by road or via the branch line train from Perranwell Station just up the road. In the city you'll find major retailers and supermarkets as well as independent shops, cafes and bars.
